Hey There, Friendo!!
About Me
I live in the mountains of Colorado and sometimes I make art. I started drawing when I was around seven-ish and am somewhat self-taught, though I did take a lot of art classes in high/secondary school. And I didn't start to seriously paint until I took painting courses in college. After I finished my bachelor's degree I took a fairly long hiatus from art related things. I just recently restarted painting and drawing, so I'm slowly rebuilding my portfolio as time allows (most of my early work has been sold or given away). I like to create a wide variety of things, though it usually takes me quite some time to finish a particular piece (hundreds of hours sometimes) as I love adding little details that no one will probably ever notice.

I do all my digital work by hand just as I would with my physical oil paintings. I use a drawing tablet in conjunction with a program called Corel Painter which mimics physical painting/drawing mediums pretty well (brush strokes, textures, etc.). Most of my work takes 100 plus hours to complete, as I work in a very large format and/or tend to put in a lot of detail. For my digital work, I usually make one full sized 'master' print and treat that as the original, then do a limited series of smaller prints. This helps spread out the cost a bit and makes my work a bit more accessible to a few more people, but also still keeps it somewhat special instead of being mass produced. I personally print all of my master and limited-edition prints. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me via email (info@mountainmuseart.com).
- Frequently/Infrequently Asked Questions -
Do you use AI in your digital work?

No, I do not. I currently create all my digital paintings/drawings by hand as I like to have a strong personal connection with my work. I also tend to layer several levels of meaning into my pieces, and AI can't deliberately do that at this point. My art is a very personal thing for me and having a machine do all the creating takes the 'soul' out of it for me.

How quickly do you ship?

I try to keep a small stock of prints/frames so I can ship them within 1-2 business days of your order, but if I have to make a fresh print for your order it can take about 3-4 business days as the ink needs to cure for a couple days before I can apply a protective coating.

What are your return policies?

If you need to return an item for any reason, please contact me via email with the reason for the return and I'll send you the return info. I generally cannot reimburse return shipping costs at this time.

You have 7 days from the date of receipt to return an open-edition print; though, the print will need to be returned in its received condition with all of its original packaging and materials.
Limited-edition prints and unique artwork (i.e., original physical paintings/drawings) can generally only be returned under extreme circumstances. Ultimately, I want you to be happy with what you ordered, so if there are any problems or you're unhappy for any reason please get in touch with me within 7 days of receiving your order.

What if my item is damaged while in-transit to me?

Please take a photo of both the packaging and artwork and send those to me within 48 hours of receipt. If it's a limited-edition print, I'll probably need you to send it back to me before I can send a replacement, but that will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
